Mission
To perform as well as possible in games through skill building, athletic development, and strategy. To provide a space for player development of fundamental skills and opportunities to learn complex strategy.
Description
Players on Team Disky Business are expected to have or show advanced potential for mastery of fundamentals. Players will focus on complex offensive and defensive strategy and on-field chemistry.
Attendance Policy
The only excused absences are class and work. Other absences will be handled on an case-by-case basis. Players are expected to attend practices and participate in development outside of practice.
Substitution Policy
Substitutions will be determined via a trade off between player development early in the season and team performance during the 2018 College Series. Players may not receive equal playing time. Players with low attendance may receive less playing time.
Spring Break
We want to incentivize player retention through the Spring Break Training Trip. Players will be given preference for the spring break roster according to seniority (number of semesters playing on the team) and meeting a minimum practice attendance requirement (players must attend at least two practices each week). Players from both teams will be given the opportunity to attend spring break. The focus of spring break is on development and leadership. Players that attend spring break are required to fully participate in tournaments and leadership activities on the trip and are required to bring those skills back to their respective teams.
